The “golden shoe box” on top of the Eperon d’Or building houses a visitors centre. Here, you’ll find all sorts of touristic information about the Lys region (between Wervik and Ghent).

Entry is free – without obligation to visit the rest of the museum. The visitors centre not only offers brochures and flyers, but also tablets, 3D viewers and an interactive digital map of the region.  All around on the walls  of this space, there’s an eye-catching panoramic drawing of Izegem and the canal region between Roeselare and Ooigem.
