Eperon d’Or proudly presents a small new temporary exposition, entirely dedicated to the fascination with high-heeled for women.

In 2024, the museum received two significant donations of private shoe collections: the first by Frieda Dauphin-Verhees from Antwerp (B) and the second by Louis Henrard from Liège (B). Combined, the two collections add up to over 2.500 pairs of shoes!

This exposition showcases a selection of exceptional shoes from both collections. While it gives an overview of more than a century of shoe fashion, it also offers a tantalising insight into the personal lives of both shoe collectors.
